The House Oversight Committee has published a collection of roughly 70 images obtained from the property of former adjudicated individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third release from a tranche of over 95,000 photographs the panel has secured from Epstein's property. It includes images of quotes from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and censored photos of women's foreign passports.

This disclosure occurs just hours before the December 19th due date for the Department of Justice to release each documents associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These images bring up additional inquiries about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its possession," remarked the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photographs Released

A number of the photographs published on Thursday feature Epstein in discussion with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates standing next to a individual whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk opposite Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest high-net-worth, prominent individuals to be pictured in Epstein property photographs released by the committee - formerly released images also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the images is does not constitute evidence of any wrongdoing, and several of the pictured individuals have said they were never implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a statement issued alongside the image disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate did not offer explanatory details or timeframes for the images.

"Photographs were selected to offer the public with transparency into a representative sample of the photos acquired from the estate, and to offer insights into Epstein's circle and his profoundly disturbing activities," the announcement reads.

The disclosure also features several photos of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita inscribed in ink across several locations of a female's body, such as her chest, foot, hip, and spine. Lolita tells the account of a young girl who was exploited by a middle-aged literature professor.

A particular passage from the book written across a female's torso says, "Lolita's name: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a series of photos of female identification and identification documents from countries globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the information on the documents, including names and DOBs, is censored but the panel indicated in a announcement that the travel documents are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

An additional photograph features Epstein sitting at a table in close proximity surrounded by three individuals whose faces have been redacted - one has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his shirt, and another is leaning to look at a close-by computer. Epstein appears to be helping the third put on a bracelet.

Another image released is a capture of SMS messages from an unnamed sender who says they have been provided "a number of girls" and are demanding "$1000 per girl".

Photo Release Comes Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The panel has a vast number of photos in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "simultaneously disturbing and everyday," its announcement on recently noted.

The House Oversight Committee first subpoenaed the holdings of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York jail in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on charges of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and records the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the committee are different than what is commonly referred to "the Epstein files". Those are papers within the Department of Justice's control related to its own inquiry into Epstein.

In accordance with the recently passed law, which President Trump made law in November, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its files. The extent of the contents contained in the DOJ's files is not publicly known, and it's expected that a significant portion of the information will be extensively obscured, comparable to Congressional documents
