Tehran reports attacking a American military facility in Manama, as Iran launched strikes across the region in retaliation for a significant and continuing attack targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.

That initial attack - initiated at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted locations linked to the Tehran's leadership, with President Trump calling on the people of Iran to revolt against the government.

Regional Fallout

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces stated it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.

The Ministry of Defence of the UAE announced that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".

"Emirati air defenses responded to the projectiles with high efficiency and destroyed a several projectiles," the statement continued.

The statement noted debris fell on a populated district in the capital, causing some material damage and the death of one civilian.

The United States Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, south of Abu Dhabi, along with the UAE Air Force.
